My name is Mylah (she/her) and when teaching middle school special needs classes didn’t fulfill my desire to provide support, encouragement, and build skills necessary to navigate the world or the emotions it may cause, I realized I needed to change my career. I moved from upstate NY to Charlotte, NC in hopes of being able to better support youth, adolescents, and young adults who needed it.
I want to provide a safe space to process your emotions and past traumas, a nonjudgmental and supportive ear to listen to your concerns, an open heart and mind, and an empowering guide to work with you to achieve goals that matter to you. At the end of our sessions, I hope you leave my office feeling replenished and prepared to face what life throws at you.
